For all seafaring lovers, we recommend visiting the first island aquarium in Croatia. Its doors open in 2008 and you can find more than 70 species of Adriatic fish, freshwater fish, reptiles and amphibians.
And if you are in the mood for a little exotic, you will not be disappointed. In setting this aquarium you can find more than 20 kinds of exotic animals! At more than 380m of attractive exhibition space, find the largest exhibition of shellfish and snails of the Adriatic.
The unique story of this interesting collection began in the early 20th century, the house sailor Francis Vušković was the most interesting place around here, not only because of its beautiful facades, but also because of great sounds coming from inside. The sounds were a mix of music that came from gramophone and parrot songs, which Franjo Vušković brought from one trip.
At the end of that same century, thanks to the collector Peter Infeld, the house has been fully restored and again attracts more and more visitors. If you are near Dobrinja, make sure to come back!
