Holiday house CASA DI BRONZO with private pool

The house itself is really charming from the outside, and the garden and outdoor area are beautiful. The location was great, communication was good, and check-in was easy. There is a lot to like about the property, but unfortunately the condition inside did not quite match the first impression. Our main issue was cleanliness. There were cobwebs and spiders in many corners, dust and dirt beside and behind furniture and appliances, and the extractor hood was covered in grease. The dishes, glasses and cutlery also had a greasy residue, so we had to wash everything before we could use them. The bathrooms could have been much cleaner as well. There was mould in the shower areas, and the toilets did not appear to have been cleaned properly. One of the shower enclosures was not fitted correctly when we arrived, so we had to put it back into place ourselves. There was also visible water damage on a wall next to one of the bathrooms, with the plaster already coming away. We were also disappointed with the condition of some of the bedding. Some sheets were stained, discoloured or had holes in them, including the bedding provided for the one-year-old child. For us, this goes beyond personal preference. Bedding and bathrooms should simply be clean when guests arrive. The kitchen had most of the basic equipment, but some of the pots provided were not suitable for the induction hob. Cleaning supplies were also very limited. Only three dishwasher tablets were provided for an eleven-night stay, and we needed those at the beginning just to clean the dishes and kitchenware. We were surprised that there was no vacuum cleaner in the house. For an eleven-night stay, we would expect this to be part of the standard equipment, especially in a property that accepts pets. We had registered our two dogs in advance and had to request a vacuum cleaner, which was then provided two days later. The additional charge for our dogs was €25 per dog per night, which came to around €550 extra for our stay. We found this very expensive. At that price, we would at least expect the house to be thoroughly cleaned before arrival and basic cleaning equipment to be available from the beginning. We actually left the house cleaner than we found it. A cot was provided for the one-year-old child, which we appreciated, but there was no high chair when we arrived. We had to request one and then assemble it ourselves. There were also a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. Several of the sun loungers were damaged, to the point where we had to be careful when sitting on them. The coffee table in the living room was badly swollen and worn, and some of the other furnishings could also use some attention. There is a good television in the living room, but no TVs in the bedrooms, although the rooms appear to be prepared for them. Adding TVs to the bedrooms would be a useful improvement, particularly as the house is advertised for up to eight guests. With a larger group, having another place to relax away from the main living area would be helpful. Overall, we did enjoy our stay, and the house has some genuinely lovely features. The garden and outdoor area in particular are beautiful. However, considering the total price we paid, including approximately €550 extra for our two dogs, we expected a better standard of cleanliness, maintenance and basic equipment. With some attention to these issues, this could be a very nice holiday home.

Sehr schönes sauberes Haus und toller Pool. Das ein auschecken geht dort super easy. Der extra weinkühlschrank war auch für uns Mega.

The house was very comfortable, suitable and well equipped. We had a great week in house of bronzo. Just a little improvement should be considered: A pair of awnings to make lunch possible in the patio.
